Bella's Story...
Bella is a sweet and friendly terrier mix that is looking for a forever home. Bella is affectionate and craves attention from her humans. Bella is an intelligent dog that will be wonderful in fulfilling her role as the canine member of your family! Bella is doing great in her foster home, but it is not permanent, so she is depending on you to love her!

What kind of ‘fella’ is Bella? Bella is friendly, eager to please, hyper/energetic, enthusiastic, adaptable, and trainable. Bella likes going for walks, sometimes other dogs, children of all ages, adults, strangers, grooming, car rides, and cats. She has mixed feelings about her crate. Bella is sometimes bothered by sudden loud noises, thunder and lightning, and strange places.
Training: Bella is house and crate trained. She is used to a collar and leash, and will sometimes pull on the leash and jump on people. Bella knows the commands sit, down/off, come, and lay down.

Please meet Bella and spend some time with her. You can take her for a walk and get to know her personality better that way. Bella is looking for someone like you, and she just might be the dog you’ve been searching for!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Houston Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Houston, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
