I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Rex's Story...
Rex is one of two who were left behind when the persons "caring" for them decided to move and leave them behind. They both ended up at our local hardware store, emaciated and abandoned, the female was quickly adopted but Mr Rex is still looking for his forever home. Rex is crate trained, loves to "back talk" you, plays well with other larger dogs but can be "in the face" a bit too much for some dogs. Rex will need an experienced Bull breed owner, who is dedicated to his training and continued socialization. He loves to run and play and though he could easily clear a 4' fence he never has.

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a small, no-kill, Tax Exempt REPTILE & Exotic Bird Rescue. We also have a dog, cat & livestock department. We receive animals from Sheriff & Fire Dept. Personnel, Veterinarians, BLM, Fish & Game employees and County Animal Control Officers. Some of these animals have been hit by cars or off-road vehicles, maliciously used for target practice, munched by dogs or cats and some have simply been abused or released inhumanely by irresponsible owners. Many of these unfortunate creatures are emaciated from starvation or dehydration, often diseased and, occasionally downright dangerous to handle.

We do dog & cat adoptions at Victorville PetSmart every Friday & Saturday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. & at the Apple Valley PetSmart the first & 3rd Sunday of the month from 12 noon to 6 p.m.

Each applicant fills out an adoption application, followed by a home check & an adoption contract. Adoption fees vary.
