Sissy's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Sissy's Story...
Sissy came to HCW with her baby Tippy. She is a little shy at first so she will need someone who will be patient with her until she gets to know them. Once she warms up to you she does like to be pet and cuddled. Sissy would do best in a home where there are no other cats as she doesn't like them and no dogs because she is scared of them. She would do ok in a home with kids-older kids would be best though. Please call HCW or come to Petco to meet this sweet girl. She has a lot of love to give. She just needs to be given the chance.

In addition to being spayed and up to date on all shots, Sissy is microchipped, has been tested for FeLV/FIV, wormed, checked for ear mites and treated with flea meds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sissy, a Muskegon Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
