Tootles's Story...
Tootles is a 4 month old Chi/Doxy mix (a Chiweenie) and is now interviewing for the perfect family. She has high standards because the life she had before was not so good and she wants to make sure she never is mistreated again. Before Tootles took the position with us as Chief Couch Warmer and Resident Play Toy for the other dogs, she was found starving and had an already healed broken tail. Her tail is crooked but that just adds to her all around cuteness. Tootles ideal family would be one that is a bit calm....not too much chaos, older children or a retired couple would be great! She's just a little girl and won't be big at all! She only weighs about 8 pounds right now but does require a considerable salary of lots of love and treats and chew toys and comfy beds and well....being spoiled!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tootles, a Hamburg Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Hamburg, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Hamburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
