Cagney's Story...
If you are one of those people that loves a “good find” you probably just found the right sight and even the right dog. Cagney will make you proud to have her in your family. She is one of those dogs that loves to give you attention when you want it. She loves nothing more than to be on your lap, but she isn’t pushy about it. To top it off, she almost doesn’t look real she’s so cute. She has little brown freckles on her nose, and a shorter muzzle like she might be part Cavalier. And she’s a petite little girl, too. Cagney is playful and loves to fetch a tennis ball and play with her toys. We believe Cagney is about 2 years old.

Cagney and Lacey are a great duo--Cagney's best friend Lacey is an equally great find. They are good buddies who have been through a lot together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cagney, a Sacramento Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
