Abigail's Story...
Sweet Abigail is searching for a family to love her and give her a safe forever home. She was picked up by Animal Control in rural TN so we don't know much about her past but she is a very happy and playful girl. She is about 2 years old and weighs about 35 to 40 lbs. She will be spayed and fully vetted before traveling to her new family.

If you would like to make Abigail a permanent member of your family, please contact lorainecm@comcast.net or you may paste the following link into your browser.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abigail, a Allentown Australian Shepherd/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
