Sherman's Story...
If you are looking for a dog who is easy to care for and very agreeable, Sherman could be the boy for you. Sherman is an adorable beagle/basset mix. He is so friendly and affectionate and will be a loving and loyal companion. Basically a very calm and quiet guy, Sherman is fun and playful when the time is right. He will run and play with our other dogs and sometimes just likes to sit back and watch all of the others. He really enjoys human company best of all and has fantastic house manners. Sherman does very well with cats and enjoys being around children. He is 2 years old and weighs 28 lbs. He walks very well on lead and is cute as a bug with his short little legs. He is crate-trained and housebroken. Sherman is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all of his shots. He is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sherman, a Mocksville Beagle/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Basset Hound for sale in Mocksville, or seeking a Beagle/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Mocksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mocksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mocksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Basset Hound breeders who help with Beagle/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mocksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
