Curly Sue's Story...
As practically newborn babies, Curly Sue, along with her 2 brothers and their mother, a purebred brindle and white Boston Terrier, found themselves in a high kill shelter. On 1/9/13, the day the babies were weaned, their mother was adopted from the shelter and we rescued the babies. They each weighed less than 2 pounds at the time of rescue. On 2/20/13 when they got their 3rd puppy shot, Curley Sue weighed 4.6 pounds. Our vet thinks that dad may have been a Yorkie. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Curly Sue, a Westport Boston Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Westport, or seeking a Boston Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Westport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westport paves the way for another one to be saved.
