Geisha's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Geisha's Story...
Geisha is a beautiful, gentle Seal Point Siamese kitten. She is very shy but just needs a little TLC and would probably do best in a home without young children.

Update: We have also determined that a large part of the reason that Geisha is a bit shy is that she is very nearsighted. Thus she is cautious of other strange cats until she gets to know them well. She is very affectionate with her friends and family but very cautious with strangers. We feel she would do best in an adult home and possibly as an only animal or with only another gentle companion. She would do wonderfully given the opportunity to be the companion to an elderly person.

FurEver Friends holds adoption events EVERY SATURDAY & SUNDAY from 10am-5pm at Petco (825 Brevard Rd, Asheville, NC). Visit some of our cats and kittens all week at the same Petco and also Pet Supermarket (244 Tunnel Rd, Asheville, NC). Please contact us to meet a specific cat.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Geisha, a Asheville Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Asheville, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Asheville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Asheville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Asheville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Asheville paves the way for another one to be saved.
