My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Baylee! Maggie and I came all the way from Alabama! Our family had to give us up because they felt they could not give us the attention we needed. My name is Baylee (Golden Retriever) and I am 9 years old. Maggie is my sister (Labrador Retriever) and she is 7 years old. We have been together our entire lives. We love each other and don't want to be separated. We are looking for a home that will allow us to do what we love - SWIM and CHASE TENNIS BALLS! We live for it! And it would help us lose this weight the doctor said we needed to lose. Plus, I had hip surgery at 9 months and it really helps my arthritis! Oh, and I hate storms - they terrify me so much so that I will dig out of a fence and crate. It does not seem to bother Maggie that much, although she is always tries to protect me when I get scared. We are both healthy, happy and very friendly girls and love children and other dogs. We are both house trained and crate trained - just need a new home that will let us do what we do best - be really cool dogs!

If interested adopting in Baylee and Maggie, visit our website at .http://www.adoptagoldenknoxville.org/new_england.html. If all that looks good, please move forward and fill out an application. There is a discount on adoption fees for bonded pairs.

NOTE: Adopt A Golden Knoxville rescue doesn't have an actual shelter building in your area. These dogs are fostered in private homes in East Tennessee. Therefore, it is not possible to meet the dogs and pups prior to their adoption. They are brought up north on a USDA transport
