John's Story...
This is a courtesy posting by CCFAW for Tom and Tracy:
John is about 1 year old. He has three other brothers and they are named after the mates of The Beatles. His mom, a stray cat, adopted us and she had this litter of kittens. We are looking for a loving home for John.
Compared to his brothers, he is the lightest in color. He is loving, sweet and adventurous. Stand still long enough in front of him and he will demonstrate his newly acquired skill of playing with shoe laces. Like most cats, he likes to be scratched behind the ears and on the top of his head, which of course gets the little purr machine going. He also likes it when we rub his tummy and play with his feet.
He has been dewormed and treated for fleas. He has also had all of his shots and has been neutered. He is listed with his brother but they can be separated.
You may contact us at (386) 402-7379 if you would like more information or if you would like to arrange a meeting before adopting him. Thank you, Tom and Tracy

Why Adoption is a Great Option

John, a Daytona Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Daytona Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Daytona Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Daytona Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Daytona Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Daytona Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
