Halo's Story...
Hey guys! My name is Halo because of these nifty markings on my face and head. I'm an absolutely gorgeous girl that loves to snuggle and I am always ready to play. I'm a little shy, but warm up quickly once I know you want to be my friend. I was abandoned in an awful place when I was very young, along with my mom and 7 brothers and sisters. We were rescued by a very nice lady, but not before my siblings and I got really sick. 2 of my brothers and 3 of us girls were saved but we lost 3 of our littermates. I still miss them sometimes, but I'm hoping that there's a new family out there for me somewhere that will love me and make sure I stay healthy for the rest of my life. Is that you? Do you want a lovely lady like me to add to the family? If so, send an email over to the girls at Last Second Shelter Dogs and let them know that you're interested in Halo.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Halo, a Wytheville Beagle/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Labrador Retriever for sale in Wytheville, or seeking a Beagle/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Wytheville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wytheville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wytheville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Beagle/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wytheville paves the way for another one to be saved.
