Layla's Story...
This is a courtesy posting. Please use contact info below.

This girl is a gorgeous, sweet heart, good with kids, great with dogs, loves to run and play, gal. She is a bit over a year old. She came from a family that keep her primarily in a garage for the first nine months so everything with life is now new and exciting! She has been living with her foster family since December and they love her so much that they thought they could never live without her but have realized that their life is not perfect for her so are looking for her perfect home. She loves to run off leash, romp with pups and play in any water source she can find. She requires a home with another dog that can not only tolerate but will love her young and playful side. She is also looking for a special human that loves her for everything she has to offer and someone who will allow her to be the lap dog she thinks she is in the evening to get her belly rubs and kisses.

She enjoys running for at least an hour a day and working on her obedience training the rest of the day. She is perfectly potty and crate trained. She would love to do nose work or some other fun dog sport to keep her incredibly intelligent brain working.

Requirements for adopting this beauty are: another dog in the home, breed experience (a must), signing up for training classes within a few weeks of adoption and no cats. There will be a home check and adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Layla, a San Francisco German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois for sale in San Francisco, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois dog from a breeder in San Francisco.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Francisco already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Francisco breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Francisco paves the way for another one to be saved.
