Pipkin's Story...
Hi - my name is Pipkin and I am looking for a loving furever home. I was rescued from a very unsafe beach for dogs in Puerto Rico. I am being fostered in New Jersey and my foster family loves me. They said I walk well on a leash, LOVE other dogs, love to snuggle, love to play and am really happy to have lots of human companionship. I am about 7 months old, about 10 lbs and will probably be about 15 - 18 lbs. full grown. If you would like to meet me please email meryl@thesatoproject.com. Can't wait to meet you. Love and Kisses Pipkin :))

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pipkin, a Madison Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Madison, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
