Thor's Info...
| Breed: | American Pit Bull Terrier Mix | Color: | White - With Gray Or Silver | Age: | Adult |
| Size: | Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg) | Sex: | Male |
Thor is a 4 year old male Pit Bull. He came to us from a shelter where his time was up. He is VERY well trained. He walks nicely on a leash, knows heel, sit, stay, come, down, etc. He is house trained, and does not need a crate (he doesn't like them anyway). He prefers females but likes men who are very gentle. He gets along well with other dogs, in the video the other dog is also a male. He needs a home with no children, he is nervous and will growl at them. There is a $50 re-homing fee to make sure he goes to someone who will take care of him.
Rescue Group Info...
Halo's Haven is a small, home based, all animal rescue. We are dedicated to giving unwanted, abused, neglected and abandoned animals a second chance at life. We take a variety of animals...dogs, cats, small animals, and farm animals. We do not have a physical shelter for you to visit, all of our animals are in foster homes.
All animals are in foster homes, so are available to meet by appointment only after your application has been approved.

You can fill out an adoption application here: http://www.tfaforms.com/279136
ADOPTION INFO: Anyone interested in adoption must first fill out an application. We will also send you a document about adjusting to life with a rescue dog, and require you read it and acknowledge it prior to sending us back your application. Once approved, we will set up a time for you to come out and meet the dog and us. Animals are in a foster home, and someone is usually always available to show them to you. Then we will set up a time for you to come back and pick up your new pet. We require a contract to be signed upon adoption. Adoption fees are CASH ONLY, no checks, no exceptions. YOU MUST BRING A PHOTO ID WITH YOU.
DISCLAIMER: WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY ADOPTION. We give as much information as we know about the dogs in our care but make no guarantee to the health, temperament or breed/mix of our dogs after adoption and are not liable for any issues after the adoption contract is sign and the dog is yours. If at any time you are unable to keep the dog, it is required to be returned to us. Adoption fees are non-refundable.
Our primary foster home is in Rising Sun, Indiana but we have several fosters around the tristate area. We have had adopters from several states across the country. We do require adopters to travel to our foster home to meet the animals and us, but we have no restrictions on adopter's location.
