My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BeBe is extremely cute in appearance and her happy go lucky personality makes her even cuter. She loves to go anywhere you want to go and is very well behaved and easy to take places. BeBe is well liked by other dogs and has good manners with dogs when playing which again makes taking her out visiting a lot of fun. She is a great size and not too big which is good because she likes to cuddle and sit on you. BeBe is approximately 8 - 10 months old and currently weighs 35 lbs.

Here is what else her foster family had to say:

BeBe is very good in the house. She has good manners. Of course when unattended I'd crate her as she still young. She is great at sit and wait when you feed her. She's really good on leash and I think she'll really respond to training well. When you're out walking, if you stop and talk to someone, she sits and even lies down until your ready to go ago.

She is great at waiting to pee and have a BM outside. When she first arrived to us she did pee in her crate a few times, but I think she is past all that and I'd describe her as fully house trained. She no longer pees in her crate. She seems to prefer sleeping in her crate at night then not. She's good on leash, you need to just use treats and work on heal. Sometimes she likes to chew on the leash when you first start out but it's just because she's excited. She isn't a door darter. If anything she hesitates sometimes coming in from outside. Often I think she she doesn't want to stop playing and come in.

BeBe is very friendly with kids, I would be careful with really young kids as with any dog, but she seems very gentle and isn't afraid of children. BeBe is cautious of men, if she is with someone she knows and a man touches her she's fine but otherwise she can be standoffish and appears to have a mistrust of strange men. I would recommend that any men go very slow with her and they use treats to gain her trust and to get her in crates or the house. She loves to play with dogs and has awesome social skills.

She seems fine to be on her own. If she gets exercise prior to be crated she is fine to just sleep until you get home. BeBe seems ok with most things. She's a very confident dog. She likes to play with other dogs, she loves to cuddle, she's very loving.

BeBe is a wonderful girl who will thrive with people who can keep her busy with walks and social times with other dogs. Or she'd be a great second dog for anyone who has a dog who is looking for a brother or sister. She will need a little time to bond with everyone in the family but once she does she's a very fun and loving dog.

If you think BeBe would be a good choice for your family, please submit an application for consideration.
