Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Are you someone who appreciates the challenge of winning trust? Squeaks needs a person with patience and understanding who can charm this sweet and shy boy. His name comes from the wee peeps of excitement he makes at mealtime and you have to look quickly to catch him saying it! For a snack he loves vegetables – broccoli, brussels and cauliflower – and his foster mom hand feeds him little pieces to encourage confidence and interaction. He enjoys the occasional tummy rub too but needs to be fully relaxed to reveal this vulnerable spot – the ultimate sign of cat trust. Winning Squeaks' trust comes in little doses, little moments of breakthrough, and gives a sense of accomplishment with each new little connection. He likes other cats and worships the older, domineering male that he currently lives with (ala The Skipper and Gilligan), and while this male is very kind to him, he doesn’t give Squeaksall the cuddling and grooming he craves. Perhaps you have a kitty who would enjoy the adoration of a shy younger brother? Squeak was born in 2011.
