Diamond's Story...
Diamond is a three year old terrier mix and he weighs about 15 lbs. He has a coat like a Maltese being smooth and silky and he will need to be groomed regularly. He is very affectionate and enthusiastic about almost everything but when he is stressed or worried he gets very quiet. He loves playing with other dogs. He also loves playing with cats but his enthusiasm can be overwhelming for them. He is very busy and intelligent and would benefit greatly if he can get regular walks. Diamond is neutered, up to date on all vaccines including rabies, and is microchipped. Please email stmartinsanimalrescue@hotmail.com for an application if you would like to meet Diamond.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diamond, a Sheridan Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Sheridan, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Sheridan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sheridan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sheridan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sheridan paves the way for another one to be saved.
