COURTESY POST - Metro's Story...

“Metro” is a nine month old male neutered pit bull mix. He was found at a Metro station in Los Angeles. He is very friendly and lovable with people and kids, but is a bit dog selective. He has been evaluated by a highly qualified veterinary behaviorist and has the potential to do very well with a strict training regimen.  He has been at adoptions and has been getting on really well with the dogs there. He listens very well and picks up commands fast. He is very eager to please and loves anu interaction with people. He hasn’t been exposed to any cats yet, so we are unsure of his personality with them. He is very energetic, and would work well with an active family. He is fully vaccinated, treated for fleas, and dewormed.   Please see the Bullies and Buddies rescue website or contact the adoption coordinator for the adoption application process. You can also contact Dr. Jessica Alexander at (310) 478-5915.

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from various Los Angeles shelters the day they are to be euthanized. Our goal is to help provide animals with a second chance to a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs. Once rescued, we place our dogs into loving foster homes while they await adoption. We do not keep dogs in kennels. Placing the dogs in foster homes is the first step to rehabilitation, as it allows us to thoroughly evaluate a dog's demeanor and needs enabling us to make the perfect match of dog and permanent owner. We attribute our high rate of successful placement to our foster program. At Ace of Hearts, we do not discriminate against any breed, including those in the bully breed family. Additionally, Ace of Hearts is dedicated to educating the public on how to be responsible pet owners and on the importance of spaying and neutering. We believe the real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering pets.
