Daisie's Story...
Daisie (Aka Dana) is sporting a christmas hat because Santa whisked her out of the shelter today and to a foster home. Now she just needs for you to come pick her up and take her to her forever home! This young lady is as sweet as they come! When approached she will quickly roll over for a belly rub. She wants nothing more than to be loved and to love in return. Daisie is exuberant and energetic. She knows how to sit, has nice car manners, and walks well on a leash after a gentle reminder of manners. She is extremely easy going. She is good with cats and has lovely indoor manners. If you are interested email her foster mom at ladwh@cox.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisie, a Baton Rouge Catahoula Leopard Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
