Star's Story...
Hi my name is Star and I am a sweet and very gentle 3 1/2 year old female Siberian Husky looking for my forever home. I was found as a stray wandering around scared and confused at the K-9 Obedience Club in Jacksonville, FL and was starving and very week and barely weighed 30 lbs. The K-9 obedience club could not give me the care and attention that I needed as they were not equipped to care for me at the club. One of the owners of the K-9 Obedience Club called Paws 4 Humanity Inc as they knew this was a rescue that worked with Siberian Huskies and helped them find their forever homes.

The next thing you know I was riding in a car to Orange Park, Fl where the President of Paws 4 Humanity Inc met my rescuer from K-9 obedience club and the rest is history. Now that I looked back Paws 4 Humanity Inc saved my life as I was so underweight I was given 5 small meals a day to jump start my system and get me back to health. I am now a happy and healthy Siberian Husky , weigh about 44.2 lbs and my beautiful coat has a wonderful soft shine to it and I am back to my old self. I am fostered with other huskies and get to run, play and socialize with them. My foster mom named me Star as she thought that I was a shining star waiting to recover my health and show off my brilliance. Overall I now have a second chance at life thanks to Paws 4 Humanity Inc and want to make the most of it by finding my forever home.

I can't thank Paws 4 Humanity Inc and my foster mom enough as I now have a clean bill of health, and current on my shots and ready for my forever home. I am a very well mannered girl and if I say so myself one of the sweetest and most beautiful female Siberian huskies on the planet. My foster mom adores me as I have very good manners in the house, and am great with other dogs and children.

If you are interested in meeting yours truly, one of the sweetest and most wonderful well mannered Siberian Husky's on the planet than I am your girl. Please contact Paws 4 Humanity Inc at 904 771-9516 or email at paws4humanity@att.net to request an adoption application which is the first step in their adoption process. Once your adoption application is approved you will then be able to me yours truly, and hopefully make that human to dog connection needed to bring me home. I am so deserving of a forever family after my first family left me to fend for myself by abandoning me..I am truly the Siberian Husky with the personality and sweetness that will truly melt your heart away. I hope to meet you soon! Love and kisses - Star.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Star, a Orange Park Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Orange Park, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Orange Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orange Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orange Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orange Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
