My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Starlight is a cute little two year old eight pound Yorkie mix. She is just a sweet little girl with lots of love to give. She has already been spayed and updated on her shots and is ready for her new forever home. She enjoys being being petted and craves human companionship. She needs someone who will love her and give her the attention she deserves. Adoption fee/donation applies.

To pursue this adoption, you must first complete an Adoption Application which is located under the Online Forms tab at www.NCYorkieRescue.net. Adoption fee and donation does apply. We do not make money on the yorkies we adopt to new families, we use whatever remaining money we have to help other yorkies in need. NC Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a small group of dedicated and sincere yorkie lovers. We take all yorkies, regardless of age or health issues. We are a 501(c)(3), non-profit rescue group. A home visit may be performed before the adoption is approved and an adoption application must be submitted and approved as well. All of our yorkies come with complimentary training sessions, either by a personal visit to the office or a telephone consultation, to help their transition into their new home.
