DAISY DUKE's Story...
Daisy Duke is a sweet, happy 6-8 month old puppy, who weighs just 15 petite pounds! She is a Terrier/Lab mix and will probably top out around 25 pounds when she is full grown. She is VERY energetic and playful, and really enjoys playing chase and tag with other playful pups. Yesterday she played chase and 'hide and seek' with the neighbor's 2-year old dog, hiding under and around the big bush by the water pond, tail wagging frantically the entire time! She has GREAT legs, loves to jump (she's a definite high jumper!) and really stretching into a good run during playtime. When she finally gets her energy out, she enjoys napping beside - or on - you, but she will also enjoy her own bed from time to time too. She doesn’t like her crate, but she will go in when made to (overnight and during work hours). She likes to investigate, both sniffing out and testing with her new permanent teeth! Daisy still needs supervision when in the house to make sure she doesn’t get into something she shouldn’t. Her tail seems to be in a permanent high wag! She has always been around other dogs, and they definitely help to keep her busy and exercised. She is not leash trained yet but we will be working on that. Regretfully we are no longer able to adopt to RI and MA applicants. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DAISY DUKE, a Hagerstown Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
