Otis's Story...
My name is Otis. I was found as a stray on the side of a road. They tell me here that I am skinny and I need to put on some weight. I am a bit shy, but I am slowly learning that things are only going to get better from now on. My Dream Furr-ever Home would have a soft, warm bed for me to lay on, plenty of food for me to eat and a person for me to cuddle up with in the sun. Do you think I am asking for too much?

It was discovered that Otis has a heart condition that makes him a possible candidate for a pace maker. Otis would probably do best in a quiet home where someone is with him most of the time. A home with other large dogs or children would probably not be best for him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Otis, a Grants Pass Pomeranian/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian/Chihuahua for sale in Grants Pass, or seeking a Pomeranian/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Grants Pass.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grants Pass already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grants Pass breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pomeranian/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grants Pass paves the way for another one to be saved.
