Jake's Story...
My name is Jake and I am back here at RVHS! I was here when I was smaller a couple months ago, but things didn't work out, so I came back. Now I am looking for my Perfect Home!

I am a big, goofy puppy who needs to learn some man-ners. I love to play and chase things but I am smart and I really like to learn new stuff. Hey! Maybe we can learn together!

Jake's name was Taz when he was with us in September 2012. See last picture.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake, a Grants Pass Bernese Mountain Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bernese Mountain Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Grants Pass, or seeking a Bernese Mountain Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Grants Pass.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grants Pass already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grants Pass breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bernese Mountain Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Bernese Mountain Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grants Pass paves the way for another one to be saved.
