Oscar's Story...
Meet Oscar! He was a stray that looked like he was on his own for a few days before he finally wondered into a caring person's garage. His finder took him to her vet to be scanned and groomed because he was so matted and his nails were so long they curled under. His owners were never found so we had him fully vetted and he is now ready for a furever family, He is a Miniature Poodle that weighs 17lbs. He is a sweet lap dog! He gets along great with kids, other dogs and cats. He would make a great addition to any family!

Adoption Process: Please visit http://heavenlypawsmi.com/adoptions and fill out an Adoption Questionnaire.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a Rochester Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
