Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Riley is a 6 yr old long hair black/tan small tweenie. He is very shy, but is
starting to come around. He was the only dog, but is getting along fine with
the other foster dogs and also kitty cats. Riley just can not figure out why he
is in foster care. He was also very depressed when he first came into foster
care and would run from his foster mom. He is better now and loves to sit with
his foster mom during TV time.
He has not been exposed to his foster mom's grandchildren yet, but she thinks he
will do fine with children 7 years old and above if they are well behaved and
give him space when he needs it. Riley does the cute little head turning when you talk to him.
His new home will have to give him some time to adjust to his new surroundings
and routine. Riley is house trained, crate trained, good on a leash, good with
other dachshunds and cats. He does fine in the car, but wants to drive, so he
rides in a crate when it is time to go places.
Riley is a black and tan long hair purebred dachshund. He is tweenie size at 12-14 lbs.
Riley is a sweet dog that wants a loving home that will not give up on him. He
is out of the playing age and prefers to be with his family all the time. Just
hanging out for football games, cookouts, or walking in the park. He does not
mark in the house and has good manners.
Riley is neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm negative on prevention, and
has been dewormed. He has no known health issues at this time.
