CHESSY's Story...
Chessy is a Chocolate Lab mix who is estimated to be 18 months old, weighs 40 pounds and is so very pretty. She loves playing with other dogs, big and small. She is very active and gives the 3 large dogs she lives with, a run for their money. Chessy is housetrained and is learning many tricks such as sit, down and wait. She is very eager to learn and would do great with an active family. She loves to cuddle and to be near her human family. Chessy is patiently waiting to become part of her forever home. Regretfully we are no longer able to adopt to RI and MA applicants. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHESSY, a Allentown Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
