Caleb's Story...
Meet Caleb! Caleb came in to our kennel along with his best friend Scout from Lawrence County. They are approximately 4 months old and absolutely precious! They are currently in foster care with two of our awesome volunteers.

Here is what they had to say:

Scout and Caleb are roughly 4 months old and are an absolute joy. These two play well together, get along great with other dogs, love meeting new people, and love to snuggle. They want to be with you all of the time and will follow you around the house and if you are on the couch, they want to be next to you. These two are very curious, smart, and food motivated. We have been crating them when we leave and at night. We have been working on House training, they are not 100% but as long as they are kept on a schedule and they are continued to be worked with, It shouldn't be an issue. They appear to be some form of terrier mix and are energetic and could benefit from some basic behavior training as any puppy could. They have met cats and are curious about them, but are wary of them.

Caleb's adoption fee is $200 and covers the cost of his neuter, vaccines, preventative medications, microchip and 30 day free trial pet insurance.

We are a 501c3 non profit organization and your adoption fee is a tax deductible contribution.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Caleb, a Delaware Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle for sale in Delaware, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Delaware.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Delaware already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Delaware breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Delaware paves the way for another one to be saved.
