My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello World,
We are Bogie and Bacall, a dynamic duo who are one year old, happy, sweet, loving and, as you can see, pretty darn cute, too! I’m Bogie and I’m the man of the house. My foster mom says I’m active, playful, sweet and loving -- and very protective of little Bacall. (I think of her as my responsibility.)
Dad says that Bacall is a ‘little slipper of a girl’ who weighs only six pounds and is not as brave as I am. He says she loves to be petted, held and have her head scratched and she gives gentle doggy kisses. (Mom says I do, too. You see, we learn from one another.) Mom also says Bacall looks up to me and almost always wants me to take the lead (because she is so much smaller,) We are inseparable and happiest when we can snuggle together. (We even like to share the same crate – but have our own beds!)
We get along well with other small dogs and have learned a lot from our doggy foster brothers! Why I’ve already learned how to use the doggy door, to answer to some commands, to play ‘fetch’ and ‘chase’. And speaking of ‘fetch’ Mom says I even bring the ball back every time. She says that is very impressive! (And it doesn’t wear her out as much as my doggy foster brothers do!)
Occasionally Bacall and I ‘play wrestle’ with each other – but I’m gentle with her since she is so little. We also like to go for walks and rides in the car. Being on a leash is new to us and we think it is really neat! Mom says we need to practice, so she is helping us to practice now all the time.
There is no doubt that we are healthy, happy, handsome (well, I’m the handsome Havanese but Bacall is the beautiful bichon (She’s a Havanese too ‘cause the real name of our breed is Bichon Havanese. I know, I’m just being silly!)
What we want most of all is a Forever Family ….and a home where we can be together, love and be loved (and where we can entertain you, too!)
If we sound like your kind of pups, please complete an application for us because we’d love to meet you. And nothing would make us happier than to be in our Forever Home very soon.
Tail wags and bichon kisses.
Handsome Bogie and Beautiful Bacall
