My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Moose, and I am a 1 1/2 year old Chihuahua mix looking for a forever home in the Chicagoland area. I’m just a small fry, but I have a lot of personality. I love to snuggle with you on the couch and in bed, give tons of kisses, and spend time looking out of the window at the world around me.

I am currently living with cats and small dogs now. We all get along, but I MUCH prefer lounging around on the couch to playing with my foster pooch sister. I guess you could say I’d be ok being the only dog. That way I get to have you all to myself. Either way, just love me lots and keep me safe and I’ll be as happy as can be.

I’m not fond of big dogs. They scare me. Younger children tend to scare me too, but I do like children over the age of ten. Sometimes on walks I see things that scare me, but I know I’m protected so I bounce back fast and go back to sniffing things. When I’m outside, my foster mom keeps me safe and comfortable with my harness and my collar.

I’m working on my wee wee pad skills, but I do know how to go potty outside too. You just have to keep me warm on chilly days.

I am neutered, up to date on my shots, and microchipped. My adoption fee of $300 goes to benefit the rescued animals of Bow Wow Revolution.
