Tipper's Story...
Hi People!
My name is Tipper and I’m an adorable bichon mix who is creamy white with tips of brandy on my ears and tail. (That’s why my Aunties called me Tipper!) Mom says I’m a handsome, loving, happy, playful and adaptable boy of about one or two - and as affectionate as I can be. (You see, I have already worked my charm on her – and I wasn’t even trying very hard!)
When I came to Mom house, it wasn’t long before she fell in love. I taught her how to run after toys in the yard (when she doesn’t then I’m happy to run after them by myself!) and I especially taught her how to snuggle. (She’s getting very good at it, too!)
My doggy foster brothers and sister have taught me a lot, too. Like how to play and use the doggy door and chew on these things called bones. Or are they called toys? Anyway they are good for a young guy like me. In fact Mom says I’m happy when I have a chew toy, Kong or something she calls a ‘wubba’. I don’t think I can even pronounce that word but I sure like chewing on it.
As for Dad, he likes me too! He says I love to hang around with him – and am content to lie quietly near him. Dad says I also like to go for walks and rides in the car – and that I’m a happy boy. I’m also completely housebroken, not barky and so good that I get to sleep in the big people’s bed all through the night.
Mom says I am focused on people (I like to meet-and-greet) am very smart (I already learned a bunch of commands!) and am a happy, delightful guy with amazingly beautiful coat. What I really need now is a forever family to call my own. Someone to play with me (fetch would be fun) take walks and then cuddle would be ideal. A furkid or two and an active home would be my dream come true. And if there’s a cat in the house, that’s fine, too ‘cause I’m even good with cats!
So please complete our application so we can meet - and fall in love.
Tail wags and kisses,
Terrifically Talented Tipper

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tipper, a La Costa Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in La Costa, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in La Costa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Costa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Costa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Costa paves the way for another one to be saved.
