Important Note

Hook is best friends with Gator. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Hook, aka Bayou is a sweet kitty with a curve at the end of his tail. He was born that way, it hooks to the right, very cute!

Hook is a sweetheart, love people once he knows them and will be great in a home, especially if his brother Gator, an orange & white boy, can come along. They love each other.

He seems to be more confident if Gator is around. I love the way he tilts his head and asks for a rub, a total sweetheart, just a year old that needs his own home. Please consider Hook and Gator, two super boys.

Neutered, current on shots, microchipped for ID, negative for FeLV/FIV, dewormed and flea free. All ready for your home.

If you want to meet him please email for more information and to complete an application foster mom Thank you.

About Southern Counties Rescue (Mission Viejo, CA)

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group (+ a few dogs). We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Netuer/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low cost S/N clinics.
