Important Note

Gator is best friends with Hook. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Gator is one sweet kitty, he can be shy with strangers but once he knows you he is great. I wish I had a photo of him with his mom Patches, they play together and clean each other so if you are looking for two they would be a great pair. Gator can also be a friend to any other friendly cat or dog. In these photos he is with his friend Junior and Dallas.

None of these photos do him justice. They certainly don't show his personality, you will have to meet him to understand him. Gator is a teenager, around 8-9 months. He does like the attention of people too.

Neutered, current on shots, microchipped for ID, negative for FeLV/FIV, dewormed and flea free. All ready for your home.
If you want to meet him please email for more information and to complete an application foster mom Thank you.

With over 100 cats in our program, not all come to every event so please confirm his attendance.

About Southern Counties Rescue (Mission Viejo, CA)

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group (+ a few dogs). We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Netuer/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low cost S/N clinics.
