MAB (Courtesy Post)'s Story...
Mab and her siblings (Puck, Diva, Arwen, & Megan) were found thrown in a dumpster in an apartment complex in Aug of 2012. They were taken in and were raised in a household with other cats plus large dogs. They are all friendly with all other creatures. They are playful, cuddlers, and love having other cats around to socialize with.

Mab is the tiniest of the siblings, and also the cuddliest. She is sneaky and fast, which means when she wants attention she will find you without you knowing it! She loves playing with the mouse pointer on the computer screen and playing games with her siblings. Being social with other cats and people is very important to her.

If you'd like to meet Mab for yourself, please e-mail us for an application at Filling out an application is the first step in meeting one of our wonderful adoptables.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MAB (Courtesy Post), a Louisville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Louisville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Louisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Louisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Louisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Louisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
