Strawberry's Story...
My foster mom rescued me from animal control. At first, I was a little unsure about my new pack but I have really come to like my foster brothers Remi and Curly. The three of us play and run around the yard together. I don’t even mind Curly chewing on my ears. Even though I like playing, I really like being with my foster parents. I follow one of them around when they move about the house and often will just curl up somewhere in the room just to stay near them. I don’t have any bad habits like getting on the furniture or stealing things off the counter. I also don’t have a problem sharing my food with the other dogs. I do really like being petted and getting attention. I will make my presence known when you bend over to tie your shoes!

I’ll make a great dog for anyone who does not have cats or small animals. If you live in a small house or apartment, I’ll be fine. I’m quiet in the house and am content to just hang out with you. If you have a yard or like going for walks, I have some energy for that too.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Strawberry, a Phoenix Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
