Meet Callie! She is a Retriever/Hound/Shepherd mix who is currently about a year old. Callie is the sweetest girl you will meet. She truly believes she is a lap dog. Callie is doing great in her foster home. She is crate trained and house trained. She LOVES to play with other dogs. She is a very pretty girl and aims to please. She LOVES toys. She would love to attend obedience classes with her new family! She is an active girl who would love lots of walking, playing in the park, or a fenced yard. But, when its time to snuggle up on these cold days, she is right there with you. Please consider being Callie's new family!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Callie, a Georgetown Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Georgetown, or seeking a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Georgetown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Georgetown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Georgetown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Georgetown paves the way for another one to be saved.
