JAX's Story...
Jax is an incredibly handsome Yellow Lab mix, 2 years old but he still thinks he’s a puppy. At 50 lbs, he is bouncy and playful and sometimes clumsy, so older children would be best, as he may knock younger ones over. But children are definitely on his list of favorite things. A typical Lab, he loves people. Jax is working hard on learning simple commands like, sit and stay, but his puppy side just keeps kicking in and he wants to play! A nice yard to run in and a family to love him would be heaven to Jax. He was abandoned by his first owners and heartlessly left to wonder the rural roads of TN. Jax has such a trusting face and big heart, and he just doesn’t want to be let down again. He is waiting patiently in his foster home for someone to notice him and fall in love. Please help us find this teddy bear a happy ending to his sad story. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JAX, a Salem Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Salem, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
