Ollie - Loves Dogs and Kids's Story...
Woof Woof! I'm Ollie! I'm a 3 month old Border Collie and Aussie Mix. I'm from the Bakersfield shelter. True to my Border Collie traits, my foster says I'm super, super smart and that I lean very quickly. I was housetrained in one day! I'm crate trained and sleep through the night without a peep.....that's as long as I get my exercise everyday. I'm about 15-20lbs right now and will probably grow to 40-50lbs.

I love walks, I'm good on a leash and I love to play ball. I'm great with all people and good with other dogs too. Cats are not my favorite so I'd like to be in a household with no cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ollie - Loves Dogs and Kids, a Burbank Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd for sale in Burbank, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Burbank.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burbank already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burbank breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burbank paves the way for another one to be saved.
