Max and Pee Wee will be joining Homeless Paws shortly.. this is what the owner had to say about her babies... ****I am heartbroken to have to put my 2 adorable Chihuahuas, Max and PeeWee, up for adoption. I am moving and can not bring them with me. I hope there is a family that can open their hearts and home to these 2 loving dogs. Max and PeeWee were both abandoned, I found them 6 months apart. They are not related, but are close as brothers, so I don't want to separate them. Max was left at a train station in 1999, he was only 2 lbs. and approximately 8 weeks old. Now he is about 12 lbs., healthy, frisky, affectionate, extremely devoted and loving, a good watch dog. Max is tan, short hair. He loves to play with his toys, run in the yard, sunbathe, go for long walks, give kisses and snuggle on my lap. He is sweet tempered, good with people/children, good with cats and rabbits, warms up to other dogs, especially females. He has never been in a kennel, it would terrify him. I have always taken him on vacation with me. He loves the beach! Max needs a famly that will be as devoted to him as he will be to them. I found PeeWee wandering the street in 2000. He had been mistreated. He was only 2 lbs. and about 8 weeks old. He is black with tan and white. He was very scared and cowered a lot when I first brought him home. Now he weighs about 5 lbs., he is trusting and affectionate, and when he's happy he will run in circles and bark his little bark. He is afraid of toys, or sudden loud noise, especially thunder. He will play with my hand. He is very devoted, loves to sunbathe, likes to crawl under the bed covers and snuggle, loves the beach. PeeWee has also never been in a kennel, I believe it would have a terrifying affect on him. He has always come on vacation with me, and he is very close and devoted to Max. He is good with cats, quite timid wth other dogs, good with people and older children. PeeWee is more sedate, and would be good in a calm home. He recently had some teeth pulled, but eats dry food and crunchy treats with no problem. PeeWee needs a family that will give him lots of love and affection, and let him know he is safe. He is very close to Max, and I want to keep them together. If you can accept PeeWee and Max into your heart and home, you will get love a thousand times back. Both dogs are neutered, healthy, up to date on shots. I would include all their beds, toys, food, heart worm meds.,leashes, collars, harnesses, coats, crates, toothbrushes and toothpaste, bowls, food and treats.
