Amelia's Story...
Hi! My name is Amelia and I am looking for my next adventure (I have a story about the day I ran away from home ... but it has a happy ending.) Now, I'd really like to find my forever home. My brother and 2 sisters and I are with our foster family, which is great because we were living under a house prior to the rescue ladies coming to get us.

They really don't know what breed I am ... my mom weighs around 25 lbs and looks kinda like a terrier mix. Us pups have brindle coats and mine is kinda fluffy. At 8 weeks old I weighed 7 lbs.

I'd love to meet you. If you think I'd be a good fit in your family, please go to www.heavencanwaitanimalrescue.com and fill out an application right away!

Thanks for adopting!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amelia, a Russellville Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund for sale in Russellville, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Russellville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Russellville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Russellville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Russellville paves the way for another one to be saved.
