ALFRED's Story...
Meet Alfred, a wonderful 14-month old pit bull puppy. He is probably the sweetest dog we have ever met. Alfred was dumped at a high-kill shelter with a shattered leg. With the help of generous donors, we were able to raise the funds to get the needed surgery Alfred needed on his leg. He is now fully recovered in a foster home and doing great.

Alfred is a gentle soul who loves all other dogs and children, too. Alfred walks well on leash, and enjoys walks and hikes. He plays well with other dogs, and enjoys cuddling up with them at the end of the day. He has good manners in the house, and is all around a charming and very handsome pup. He will be a wonderful companion for an individual, couple, or family looking for a loyal, well-socialized best friend.

An adoption fee/donation, home check and adoption contract are required for Alfred.

Alfred is a courtesy listing; he is not available through United Hope for Animals.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ALFRED, a Pasadena Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Pasadena, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Pasadena.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pasadena already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pasadena breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pasadena paves the way for another one to be saved.
