Zoey's Story...
Meet Zoey, a lovable 2 1/2-year-old female German Shepherd/Hound mix. Zoey needs to find a new home, her owner is dealing with family medical issues and doesn't have the time to devote to train and work with her. She is 60 pounds, a nice medium size, and is still a young girl, very energetic. Great for an active family with older kids or an active adult that likes to run or bike with their dogs. She is very smart and eager to learn! Zoey already knows, sit and lay down, and she loves to roll over for belly rubs. Zoey is crate trained and will sleep in a crate at night. She loves to play ball and splash in the water. Zoey would do best in a home as an only pet: she wants to be the center of attention and loves to be wherever her people are. Zoey will make a wonderful companion for an owner who is willing to exercise her daily and formally train her in dog obedience. She is heartworm negative, spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea preventative. The adoption fee is only $75 and allows us to help more animals. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey, a Weatherford German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Weatherford, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Weatherford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Weatherford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Weatherford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Weatherford paves the way for another one to be saved.
