Wil E._Balt. Cnty's Story...
Courtsey Post- This is not an Ali Oop Dog.
Wil E. is a 4 yr old Grt Pyr/St Bernard Mix pulled from an out-of-state shelter with a 98% kill rate. Sadly, he was an owner surrender as a result of a divorce and the owner needing to move to an apartment. I contacted the former owner, who was thrilled to know her dog was alive as I had him pulled from the shelter to give him a chance. I had him neutered and got him up-to-date on shots. He's approximately 80 lbs. Adoption fee of $250 covers neutering and cost to pull him from shelter.

Previous owner states he is excellent with cats, dogs, and children. I have observed him with cats & dogs and he is non-aggressive and non-dominant.

He's housebroken and crate trained. He knows commands: sit, come, down, paw, and high-five!

He's a sweet dog that deserves a sweet home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wil E._Balt. Cnty, a Cumberland Great Pyrenees/St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/St. Bernard for sale in Cumberland, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Cumberland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cumberland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cumberland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/St. Bernard breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cumberland paves the way for another one to be saved.
