Storm's Story...
Storm is a happy, well-adjusted Lab mix pup born around September 2012 who came to Kiko from a pound on a stormy day. Some of our nicest dogs come from the pound and Storm is certainly no exception. At about 35 pounds when he was 5 months of age, Storm is likely to grow into a medium-sized dog. He's a typical playful pup who gets along very well with other dogs. Storm is learning his basic commands, is good in the car and is eager to please his foster. Storm is a sweet dog who will make an ideal pet for an active family who is looking for a fun and gentle dog to grow with.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Storm, a Rigaud Labrador Retriever/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Collie for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Collie dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
