JAZZY's Story...
Hello I am Jazzy and i was 3 months old march 11, 2013. I am a purebred Mini Australian shepherd. They tell me i am full of piss and vinegar, whatever that means. I think it means i love to play with my foster buddies. I really would like a home with another dog or i would be too lonely and bored. I am kennel trained and working on house training. When the big dogs get too rough i always have my kennel to run back too. I would also love kids to play with but I wont stay in your arms long , cuz i like to wiggle out and run and play. I wont be able to be spayed until first of May. If you are interested in meeting me you can email my foster mom barkingdogs1@aol.com or call 816-898-5646 and she will send you a application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JAZZY, a Overland Park Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
