Dior's Story...
Dior is a Bichon Frisé born in 2006 who had been very much loved and well taken care of, but was sadly surrendered because her primary caregiver had serious health issues. Dior was diagnosed with diabetes in spring of 2013 and requires insulin daily, which she tolerates very well. She is used to visiting both the vet and groomer regularly to keep her looking and feeling her best. She is a delightful, happy and friendly little one who gets along well with children, cats and other dogs. The ideal home would be one where she is not left alone for extended periods of time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dior, a Rigaud Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
