SKIPPY's Story...
Skippy is a ONE OF A KIND...a very unique looking dog! We think he is Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog mix. He has the CUTEST freckled face! This boy will make you laugh! Skippy loves belly rubs! He loves to play with toys either with you or will entertain himself by throwing toys and chasing and catching them and he likes to play in water. He is VERY smart and needs someone who will train him more completely. He learned Sit, Come, and Heel in a flash, but still needs some reminding on the leash manners when he is excited. Skippy loves to wrestle and romp with like minded playmates of his size or larger. He is all love and fun but doesn't realize that he weighs 55 lbs so he might be too much for anything smaller than himself. (He may need a diet plan as he is only medium height!) He crates well and never meets a stranger! ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SKIPPY, a Salem Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Salem, or seeking a Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
