Gentle ABBY's Story...
ABBY, 3 year old Labrador/Border Collie mix female. 40 lbs.
They don't come any sweeter than Abby! She is calm, obedient, she can walk right next to you without a leash. Abby is super loving and wags her tail at everybody that she meets. She will make a great companion, but she also the kind of dog that can stay alone many hours and will be just fine. She is fully housebroken. Someone out there will be very lucky to take this adorable dog home. Abby is full of love to give! She could also make a great therapy dog. She is low energy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gentle ABBY, a Irvine Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
