Woody is just over a year old and has never had anyone to help him fulfill his amazing potential. Even though he has spent his entire life in foster care, he has a touching loyalty and desire to be near the person who is caring for him... sleeping at his foster's feet or patiently following her around the yard with no desire to leave. Woody prefers women and quickly becomes their constant companion. We don’t know exactly what it is about men but Woody is fine at the dog park and out with men, but at home is terrified if any men come near him. He allows brushing and kisses and hugs to his head but is not an overly affectionate dog. He needs someone willing to work with him and accept that he has little quirks. He is a joy to his current foster mom and she would love to give more information if you think you may have the right home for Woody.
